What times do the gates open each day?
Friday 4pm – 12am (not all vendors are open after 9pm)
Saturday 10am – 12am (not all vendors are open after 9pm)

Where is OCF 2024?

The Clackamas County Fairgrounds in Canby, OR, about 30-minutes south of Portland, OR.

What is the closest airport to OCF?
Is there parking available onsite? What are the parking fees?
Parking is available in the RED and BLUE lots at the Fairgrounds. Parking is free.
Can I bring pets to the festival?

Clackamas County Fairgrounds allows service animals only. Please see the ADA guidelines for Service Animals for Reference.

What is the festival’s policy regarding inclement weather? Will performances be moved indoors in the event of rain?
The Oregon Celtic Festival is a rain or shine event! All shows and performances go on as scheduled rain or shine. The only exception is for the safety of the performer or our guests.
Are there age restrictions or guidelines for bringing children?
Children are always welcome at the Oregon Celtic Festival. Children 5 and under (Infants) are completely free, with discounted Children’s passes available for kids 5 and up. There is also a specific Teen camping package available, but Teens (13+) buying single-day tickets are simply considered Adults.
Is the festival accessible for individuals with disabilities?
The festival is accessible for individuals with disabilities. The Fairgrounds has grassy areas and paved pathways, making it easily traveled by those with wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
Can I leave and re-enter the festival grounds during the day?
You may leave the festival grounds and return on the same day. Be sure to get a hand stamp from the gate staff on the way out in order to return.
What security measures are in place at the festival?
The Oregon Celtic Festival has hired a professional Security and Medical Team. If you find yourself in need of Security or Medical assistance go to the Main Entrance Gate. Bags and wagons are checked prior to entry. Outside alcohol and weapons are not allowed at the festival.
Who produces the Oregon Celtic Festival?

Oregon Celtic Festival is a part of the Wandering In Time Productions universe of events, which also presents the Oregon Renaissance Faire (held for 3 weekends June at the same location as OCF in Canby, OR) and the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire (held for 5 weeks in late July/August in Snohomish, WA).

Is smoking allowed at the festival?
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the fairground property. Please step outside the gates to smoke or vape.
Is drinking water available at the festival to refill reusable water bottles?
There will be a water refill station available inside the festival grounds. Remember to bring your own reusable water bottle!

ATTRACTIONS | MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT

What types of music can I expect at the festival?
Oregon Celtic Festival prides itself on presenting a diverse range of music styles primarily rooted in Celtic tradition. Attendees can expect a festival rich with both contemporary and traditional Celtic music, ranging from high-energy rock and fusion to authentic folk and fiddle performances.

Artists on the lineup tout influences ranging from Celtic heritage and mythology all the way through classical, bluegrass, pop, Latin, Americana, the Grateful Dead and even Electronic music genres! From traditional melodies to modern arrangements, Oregon Celtic Festival is sure to provide a musical experience unlike any other.

Where is the daily Stage Schedule?

Please see the daily Stage Schedule page. All acts and times are subject to change. The Oregon Celtic Festival is a rain or shine event!

Is there seating available? Can I bring my own chair(s) or a blanket to sit on?
Yes, guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs. There are festival provided benches and bleacher seating at the stages and tables and benches in the food court area for your use. Please be considerate of other guests also trying to watch the shows.
Can I bring a weapon that is part of my costume?
Period weapons are allowed as part of your costume. All modern weapons (i.e. guns, knives,tasers, etc.) are not allowed. Toy/Foam weapons are always acceptable, but if bringing a real sword/axe with sharp/dull blades, it must be sheathed at all times and peace-tied to keep those around you from drawing your weapon.
Are costumes/garb required?
While costuming and garb is highly encouraged for a fully immersive festival experience, no such thing is required. Come as you are! Many patrons don their finest attire, from period garb to clan kilts, from vikings to pirates, from fairies to barbarians, or even deep-space mission away teams – everyone is welcome to express themselves as their unique character of choice!

TICKETING

How do I purchase a ticket to Oregon Celtic Festival 2024? Can I buy tickets at the gate?

Tickets are available ONLINE ONLY via Eventbrite. Tickets are NOT available at the gate, but will be available online through festival days until capacity is reached. For more information about the specific ticket types and prices, visit our Ticket Info Page.

What ticket types are available?
Single Day tickets are available for Adults, Seniors/Veterans, Children (6-13) and Infants (0-5). 3-Day Festival Pass with Camping Packages (Tent or RV) are also available, including a special discounted Teen Camping package for our teens (13-17).
Are there discounts for Seniors (60+) or Military Service Members?
Yes! A Senior and Military discount are available for all ticket types. Please see our ticket info page for more details. Military Member discount includes Active Duty/Retired and Spouse.
Is camping available onsite? What are the camping options?

Yes! Both tent and RV camping are available onsite. You must purchase a 3-day Festival Pass with Camping Package to camp onsite. Please see the Camping FAQ for more details about onsite camping at OCF.

I bought tickets and now I can't go. Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable, but we do have a safe and convenient ticket resale partner. Go to Tixel.com for more information on securely reselling your ticket. Please do not respond to users offering to sell or buy tickets via social media – many of these are scams. The only safe and secure way to resell tickets to Oregon Celtic Festival 2024 is through the Tixel platform.

I bought a ticket for a previous Oregon Celtic Festival that was postponed. Will my tickets be honored for the 2024 festival?

All tickets for OCF21 (September 17-19, 2021) were fully refunded. You must buy a new ticket to attend Oregon Celtic Festival 2024.

How do I get a ticket for the Whiskey Tasting event?

Whiskey Tasting events are held only on Saturday 9/14 and Sunday 9/15. Tickets for the Whiskey Tasting events will be available via Eventbrite on the appropriate page for each day. Remember, all single-day tickets are date specific!

Can I buy a ticket at the gate?

NO! All tickets must be purchased online via Eventbrite. There will be no ticket sales at the gate.

SHOPPING | MERCHANT VILLAGE

Are vendors indoors or outdoors at OCF 2024?
All merchant vendors and food vendors are outdoors at OCF 2024 in either the food court or the vendor village.
Is there an ATM available onsite? Where is it located?
Yes, there will be ATMs available onsite, located in the Food Court.
Do vendors accept credit cards?
Cash is the recommended method for all transactions onsite whenever possible. Some vendors will accept credit cards or other forms of digital payment like Venmo, but it varies widely from vendor to vendor and the availability of WiFi connection to process digital transactions.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Absolutely! Guests are welcome to bring their own food/snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Outside alcohol is not allowed inside the festival gates.
Are there food vendors onsite?
Yes! We have a wide variety of traditional and modern food options for your enjoyment, with food available late into the night to fuel all of your dancing needs!
Are there options for vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free folks?

Yes, there will be options for vegetarian / vegan / and gluten free folks. The vendor list will be updated on our Attractions Page as the festival draws closer! Check back here and follow along on our social media pages to be the first to know about vendor announcements.

What alcohol is available onsite? What is an “Ale House”?
Yes! A variety of alcoholic beverages, including beer, mead, wine and spirits will be available for sale throughout the festival. Ale Houses are the lively and convivial gathering places at the heart of the Oregon Celtic Festival. The Ale Houses are designed to capture the essence of Celtic pub culture, offering festival-goers a welcoming spot to relax, socialize, and enjoy a variety of drinks.

Performer applications are closed for the 2024 event. Be sure to sign up for our email newsletter and connect with us on Facebook & Instagram to be the first to know when 2025 performer applications are open online.

CAMPING

What package(s) do I need for two adults and two children to camp in a Tent?
Tent Camping – Two Adults/Two Kids would purchase one (1) Tent Camping Packages w/Space, one (1) Adult Camp Package – Add On and two (2) Teen, Child or Infant Camp Packages depending on the ages of your children.
What package(s) do I need for two adults and two children to camp in an RV?
RV Camping – Two adults/Two Kids would purchase one (1) RV Camping Package w/Space, one (1) Adult Camping Package – Add On, and two (2) Teen, Child or Infant Camp Packages depending on the age of your children.
Can I park my car in my camping spot?
Please limit to one car per space in the camping area. Please do not park in the FIRE LANES. Additional parking for camping guests is available in the Yellow Parking Lot.
Can I visit my friends who are camping onsite at the campgrounds?
You can only enter the festival campgrounds if you have purchased a 3-day Festival Pass with Camping. No single-day ticket holders are allowed to enter the festival campgrounds.
Are there trash cans/recycling cans for campers to use to clean up their campsites?
There is a dumpster onsite for your use for basic trash and recycling containers for bottles and cans. Please be sure to come prepared to pack it in/pack it out and leave no trace! Try to leave your campsite better than you found it, free of trash and debris.
What time are the camping gates open each day of the festival?

Camping gate is open on Friday from 12 noon – 11pm and Saturday from 9am -11pm. There is no camping check in on Sunday. Final check-out on Sunday is at 8pm.

Where do we go for camping check-in?
Camping check in will be in the Yellow Lot through Yellow Gate – follow the signs!
What time do we need to be packed up and offsite on Sunday evening?
All campers must be packed up and offsite by 8 PM on Sunday, September 15.
What is the restroom situation on the campgrounds during the time the festival gates are not open?
There are portable toilets available throughout the camping areas and on site.
Are there showers onsite?

No, there are no showers available for public use on the campground.

Can you buy ice onsite?
Ice will not be available for purchase by festival campground guests. Please plan to bring your own ice for the weekend.
Is there an ADA camp or a "handi-camp" for disabled or elderly folks in a close proximity to the entrance gate?

Notify the campground hosts upon arrival when checking into the campground that you would like to be placed in ADA camping as close as possible to the festival entrance. Early arrival on Friday (campground check-in begins at 12 NOON on Friday, September 13th) is also encouraged for optimal campsite placement, as spots are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis and specific placements can not be guaranteed.

Can camping patrons go in/out of the campgrounds (to the outside world, and/or in/out of the festival itself) during the festival days?
All campers will get a tyvek bracelet and that bracelet will give them access to the Festival, camping areas and allow in/out access to the fairgrounds.
Am I allowed to cook at my campsite with a fire, or have a fire pit?

NO OPEN FLAMES allowed onsite, per the Clackamas County Fire Marshal. This includes but is not limited to, wood & charcoal braziers, fire pits, tiki torches, open candles or any other source of open flame.

We do allow propane stoves and propane BBQs for cooking, propane fire pits and the item must have a shut-off valve. Candles are allowed only in enclosed lanterns. Please make sure if you choose to use one of the above approved methods, that you also have a fire extinguisher at your camp.

My group purchased multiple campsites and we all want to camp together. Can we request placement together ahead of time?
The camping staff will do it’s best to place your group all together, however the best way to ensure that you will all be placed together is to arrive together. We cannot guarantee that your group will be placed together unless all ticket holders that purchased the actual campsite space (versus the add-ons) arrive together.
What is the ground-type for tent camping? Will I be able to stake down tents and shade structures easily?
The camping is in a grove of tall pine trees and a grassy field. Regular length tent stakes are acceptable.
What are the rules about bringing outside food and drinks into the campgrounds? Can people bring coolers of their own food/drinks onto the festival grounds?
Yes, outside food and drinks are allowed in the camping areas. Please note: outside alcohol is NOT allowed to be brought into the festival grounds.
Is potable water available to refill water bottles and water jugs on the campgrounds?
There will be a water refill station in the campground. Remember to bring your own reusable water bottles/water jugs!
Is dumping available onsite for RVs?
There are no dump facilities for black or gray water available on site at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds. Currently, in Oregon, gray water is classified as sewage and may not be discharged onto the ground. Please be prepared to handle all dumping needs offsite after you leave the festival.
Are campers allowed to run gas-powered generators? Are there quiet hours for generators?
Generators can be used in the camping area. Quiet hours are from 12 AM – 6 AM each night of the festival and all generators must be turned off during those hours.

Quiet hours are from 12 AM – 6 AM each night of the festival and all generators must be turned off during those hours. Please be respectful of your neighbors and allow flexibility so everyone can have a good time.
What safety and security measures are implemented on the campgrounds?
There is a professional Security Team on site at all times during the festival, including throughout the campgrounds. A professional Medical Team is also available onsite. If you need help during the festival, the Security Team is constantly roaming throughout the grounds. You can also find any staff member with a radio to call for help.
Are pets allowed on the campgrounds?

Service animals only are allowed at the Clackamas County Fairgrounds. Please see the ADA guidelines for Service Animals for Reference.

What should I bring with me for onsite camping?
  • Tent and stakes
  • Sleeping bag and/or sleeping pad (bring an extra blanket – it gets chilly at night even when it’s warm during the day)
  • Pillows
  • Flashlight or headlamp
  • Camping chairs and Pop Up for a ‘social area’
  • Portable stove or propane grill (no open flames!)
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Cooler and Ice
  • Food and drinks (check festival rules) (Alcoholic beverages are allowed in small quantities on the campgrounds but are not allowed inside the festival areas)
  • Water bottles or jugs
  • Sunscreen and bug spray
  • Toiletries and personal hygiene items (baby wipes are the best!)
  • Tarp or Rain Cover for tents
  • Rain Jacket/Umbrella to prepare for any potential inclement weather
  • Warm Layers for cooler evening hours
  • Comfortable shoes for lots of walking
  • Cash for vendors, food & drinks
  • Games to play with friends and neighbors
  • Acoustic instruments to participate in Celtic jam sessions!
